Möchten Sie 30 Bilder in Schwarz-Weiß umwandeln? Kein Problem. Müssen Sie das 'Kameramodell'-EXIF für diesen Ordner von Bildern ändern? Ganz einfach!

This app took 3 stars while it deserves definitely five stars , it is an amazing application to manage images , edit , and apply adjustments and organize photos I very powerful and convenient way . I was struggling organize and find photos that I need on my mac and waste a lot of time for this , this application neatly do the job for me . Definitely recommend it for every one .

I recently got this in a bundle offer, but glad I didn't pay full price, I agree with others that it's a bit expensive for what it is. I tried importing my Aperture library, but I ended up with all the folders and subfolders in a flat list, with no images in any of them. I have tried a few imported images, but see nothing really extra special about this app. I already own Lightroom anyway, so see nothing compelling here too make me think of a change. It might be a reasonable solution for someone starting afresh with a photo manager/editor though. However, at the costs I'm seeing for some of these alternative upstart image managers, I'd seriously look at the free options, such as RawTherapee, darktable and LightZone. All of which offer far greater lists of features, good results and good support and regular updates. If you already own one of the big boys, then I wouldn't bother looking elsewhere at this time.

I've had very bad experiences with past Escaper apps. I fiddled a bit with Emulsion but found it too slow to put up with.

Here's how an experienced pro photographer with a background in Aperture and a hatred of Lightroom felt about Emulsion (full review at DPreview).

"The app is sloooow. Just going from one image to another timed at 2.3 - 5.75 seconds.
'Create versions.' Why is this necessary? Why is a dialog box needed? I process 2000 wedding images routinely, creating a version for each image would take all day.
The adjustment tools.
- Crop tool is from 1998.
- RAW processing in general is bizarre. lt honestly looks as if it’s reading the jpg. When increasing exposure my images behave exactly as jpgs would. Nothing I do to my images looks good at all.
- Clone tool. Very basic. When activated it zooms the image in and is awkward to use.
Save and continue dialog. O_o
I actually gave up to be honest. I stuck at it for an hour but it’s just too slow."

Why would anyone want to give our hard-earned money to another half-finished project from the Escapers? Not me. I don't think there's much hope here. Affinity Photo shows real promised, albeit without DAM. If you're looking for lightweight DAM, integrating and leveraging the OS, Lyn will get you there (and Lyn is just $20 and is the fastest way to do first evaluation on photos which I know). If you want to see full detail RAW, there's FastRawViewer.

Aperture referenced import needs some work, understandable since it's still beta. Collections are fragmented by all of the subfolders for each date (year, month, day), so there are several instances of one main folder (i.e., cat, dogs, misc., etc.). Hope this is worked out soon.

Almost a disaster app, for now. I'd recommend you to stay with Finder and Photos until this app has been proper tested and basic flaws eradicated. For more advanced edit free LightZone could tempt or CameraBag2 (this app can actually batch convert a library).

Yep, tried it out today, and for a library app I quickly found several flaws just to begin with.
- Can't delete a file from folders
- Can't refresh a folder (after you've used Finder to delete the file)
- Icons misplaced and on top other of buttons window is smaller than 1024pix.
- Some tools work way way too slow (tried out clone).
- Slow generating the previews of Folder view.
- Though camera have not made any geotagging, Map taps and buttons keeps their appearance (and space).

+ I like how it work with Versions, so you don't edit your original file.

I'll get back with more feedback as I'll get the opportunity to try out Emulsion more - won't give up so easy :)
